One of the foremost wine producers in all of Italy, Marchesi de' Frescobaldi was the first estate to import and introduce French vine cuttings to Tuscany. The family has been producing wines since the 19th century and it is this level of experience that forms the grounding for their winegrowing philosophy, which centres on an intimate relationship with the environment, climate and vines. Using traditional and innovative methods, Marchesi de' Frescobaldi wines have been awarded over 90 points on numerous occasions by Wine Spectator magazine and are consistently among the Top 100 Wines of the Year.

Nipozzano Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG

Origin: Tuscany, Italy
Grapes: Sangiovese
Tasting Notes: Aged for 24 months in barriques, this Chianti develops an enticing, rather pronounced ruby red colour, edged with garnet. Complex aromas of plum and blackcurrant fruits then enriched by cinnamon and clove spices. Full bodied, with liquorice, berry and toasted oak flavours, silky tannins and a lasting finish.
Food Pairing: This versatile wine pairs well barbecued meat and beef stews and aged cheeses.

Montesodi Chianti Rufina DOCG

Origin: Tuscany, Italy
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Tasting Notes: Aged in new split oak barriques for 18 months. Intense, brilliant purple in colour, the aroma is abundant in blackcurrant, blueberry and plum with a pepper and cinnamon edge. A full-bodied palate that is warm and generous with velvety tannins.
Food Pairing: Best enjoyed with roast or grilled lamb, game dishes and pan-fried beef.

Castello di Nipozzano Mormeto IGT

Origin: Tuscany, Italy
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes: Aged in new oak barriques for 24 months, this wine develops a strikingly dense purple colour. Spicy aromas of cinnamon and clove are followed by red currant and toasted oak. Smooth tannins are immediately evident with a firm, balanced acidity and delightful, lasting finish.
Food Pairing: This wine compliments jugged hare, pot roasts and oven-roasted pork shoulder well.

Origin: Tuscany, Italy
Grapes: Chardonnay & Pinot Bianco

Castello di Pomino Rosso DOC

Origin: Tuscany, Italy
Grapes: Sangiovese, Merlot, Pinot Nero.
Tasting Notes: This purple and ruby coloured wine is aged in French oak barriques for 18 months, followed by 4 months in bottle. Full, fruity aromas dominated by dark cherries and wild red berries enriched by spices and wild herbs. Perfectly balanced with supple tannins and a tangy, delicious acidity.

Origin: Tuscany, Italy
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Tasting Notes: A lovely deep ruby colour, with crisp edged aromas of dried plums. Excellent structure and balanced tannins with a long, vivacious finish. This wine benefits from part aging in Slavonian oak casks and part in French oak barrels for 12 months.
